PRISONER ORBS comming to a town near you!!

Swarm project lets semi-autonomous orbs loose

Ah, it doesn't get much better than a smattering of spheres rolling about with absolutely no human intervention, now does it? Said scenario is exactly what members of the Swarm project are attempting to create, and while it managed to make an early appearance at Yuri's Night, the big show won't be unveiled until Burning Man commences. When all's said and done, a number of orbs will "flock, flirt, dance and interact" based solely on instructions beamed out by the directing orb, or mother node. Just be sure not to put yourself in the path of an oncoming ball of fury should you show up for the fireworks -- after all, it's not like a fellow human is directing the
act.

ITS GOING TO BE "THE PRISONER" ALL OVER AGAIN

new OCTOGON processor

Intel to release new OCTOGON processor

Intel just launched their their Core 2 Extreme Quad processor - amazing specs and and incredible price (I’m saying incredible because it’s tooooo much, their QX9775, the top of the range model starts from $1,600 and that is way to much). But that was not enough for Intel. They are at it again. They will launch a new generation processor by the end of this year called the Octogon.

We don’t have to much data about the Octogon yet, all we know is that it’s gonna be 2 quad-core processors in one, meaning 8 cores on the same chip. The Core4SE 4688 will feature a 38 nm technology, a L2 cache of 20 MB, front side bus 2200 Mhz and a clock speed of 5.66 Ghz (that is really sick). The new desktop processor will go into production this autumn and we expect to see it in stores by the end of the year - although I think it’s gonna cost a truckload of money.
