Leonardo Dicaprio i s saving the environment, one envelope at a time

i just recently received a piece of mail,
but this want just any old piece of junk mail. it was a parcel sent by an organization by the name of NRDC "natural resources defense council"

the website is full of global warming scam
info, and plenty of great "green" gifts for the holiday season. but best of all, Leonardo Dicaprio had his name printed on the back to let us know that he's doing his part too.
I can only imagine how much Dicaprio
had to "donate" for this publicity stunt.
lets not forget that this is an "organization"
so we can expect any "donation" to be tax
exempt.

But the fun doesn't stop there, the president of the NRDC
Frances G. Beinecke, has received her bachelor’s degree from Yale College and a master’s degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.

Frances co-chairs the Leadership Council of the School of Forestry, serves on the advisory board of Yale’s Institute of Biospheric Studies and School of Management, and is a member of the steering committee of the Energy Future Coalition. She has also served on many boards, including Yale University, the World Resources Institute, and, presently, the China-U.S. Center for Sustainable Development and the American Conservation Association.

the NRDC has also drafted, sponsored, and helped California pass the Global Warming Solutions Act, the nation's most ambitious law to limit statewide global warming pollution.
